Optometric Technician

Come join our dynamic team as an Optometric Technician, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our optometrists and providing exceptional eye care services to our community.
Applicant must be able to multi-task, have good computer skills, have good verbal and written communication skills and be detail-oriented.
Prior optometry/ophthalmology experience is preferred but not required.
Candidate must have a friendly personality with excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with people.
What will you be doing?: - Provide patient support for the doctor including gathering patient history, performing diagnostic testing on multiple medical instruments and assistant doctor during the examination.
- Help with scheduling appointments, insurance verification, data entry of medical records, collecting payments, scanning documents and answering calls.
-Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the office and medical equipment.
Requirements: - Strong attention to detail and passionate about providing good patient care.
-A good multi-tasker and problem solver.
-Must be a good team player and very reliable.
-Good with technology/willing to learn about medical diagnostic devices.
