*STAFF THERAPIST I (INTERN), or STAFF THERAPIST II - HEAR US PROGRAM*
*GENERAL DESCRIPTION:*
Under the supervision of the Clinical Director or Clinical Supervisor, the Staff Therapist provides individual, family and group therapy for children and adults who are participating in Tapestry’s programs and their families.
The *HEAR US* Program Therapist specifically works with Native, Latinx, Black, 2SLGBTQIA+ and other at-risk communities throughout Mendocino County.
Therapy is provided in accordance with the goals and objectives of each client’s mental health treatment case plan, as developed by the Tapestry treatment team.
Therapy is provided at Tapestry’s offices and in the community (schools, homes).
This job description does not alter the “at-will” nature of employment, nor is it intended to include every duty, task, or instruction for which the employee is responsible.
Other tasks may be assigned, based on business needs and the department supervisor’s request.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*
Provision of individual, family and group therapy, in accordance with the individual case plans of children and adults participating in Tapestry’s programs.
Participation in assessments, the development of individual case plans and in progress-reviews for children and adults, as needed, in case conferences, psychiatric reviews, interagency team meetings, IEPs and other activities as needed.
Provision of clinical guidance to support counselors and contracted rehabilitation activity leaders as needed, based upon the therapeutic needs of the children and adults.
Preparation of reports and other documents.
Participation in agency trainings and staff meetings.
Participation in an On-Call rotation to respond to emergency situations.

*PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATONS:*
Must be registered with the BBS as an Intern working toward licensure, or already licensed.
Experience in organizing information and writing of reports.
Strong computer skills and ability to utilize and maintain electronic health records used for client charting and service billing.
Sensitive to the local service population with regards to culture, religion, race, gender, socioeconomic standing, etc.
*SALARY:*
Staff Therapist I (Intern) Salary Range: $72,000 to $87,516
Staff Therapist II Salary Range: $76,160 to $92,573
5% Bilingual differential offered for fluent English-Spanish speakers (testing applies)
