PARK MAINTENANCE WORKER I/ SONOMA MENDOCINO COAST DISTRICT/MENDOCINO SECTOR/HENDY WOODS STATE PARK
This classification is subject to the Post and Bid process.
Applications from a certification list, transfer change in class, reinstatement, re-employment, and training and development assignment candidates will be accepted for this position but consistent with the MOU/Bargaining Agreement BU12/13 contract cannot be acted upon unless the Post & Bid process does not result in a hire.
The reporting location for this position is Hendy Woods State Park.
This position will work under the supervision of the Park Maintenance Chief I.
The Park Maintenance Worker I will perform skilled and semiskilled structural and facility maintenance and repair work throughout the Sector on a wide variety of park facilities, including buildings, systems, grounds, roads and trails; estimates and purchases materials and supplies; keeps tools and equipment in good condition; keeps records and prepares reports as required.
The incumbent may lead and train a crew of maintenance employees.
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.
This position requires a valid Class C driver’s license.
