Job Description and Duties STAFF PARK AND RECREATION SPECIALIST/ DISTRICT VISITOR SERVICES AND SAFETEY OFFICER/ SONOMA MENDOCINO COAST DISTRICT/ MACKERRICHER STATE PARK The reporting location for this position is MacKerricher State Park.
This position will work under the direction of the Senior Park and Recreation Specialist.
The incumbent is responsible for managing the district-wide Visitor Services Program, along with program development and evaluation of district safety and compliance programs.
The Program Supervisor will ensure the smooth operation of all events, from planning to implementation, that meet or exceed State Parks awareness and program impact goals.
The incumbent will be driven, organized, has strong time management skills, can multitask, is very detail oriented, able to work independently as well as work with a team, and will complete projects with tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
This position is responsible for planning, directing, monitoring, and engaging district staff within Visitor Services and volunteer programs.
This position requires a valid Class C driver’s license.
