*GENERAL, GROWTH & STRATEGIC ADMINISTRATION:*
· Direct the identification, development, and administration of company-wide human resources key initiatives for short, medium, and long-term growth.
· Develop policies and practices by stated corporate objectives and state and federal legal requirements.
· Direct the maintenance of personnel data systems and records in HRIS.
· Proactively advise and assist management on Human Resources management issues; Oversee employee relations activities and programs, including, but not limited to employee counseling, disciplinary actions, policy interpretation, employee orientation, and employee recognition programs.
*STAFFING AND RECRUITMENT:* · Develop, coordinate, and manage recruiting and retention strategies.
· Defines job parameters and creates and maintains job descriptions making updates as needed.
· Oversees recruiting activities, tracks resumes, reviews applications, recruiting costs and results, participates in interviews, performs reference checks, and consults with managers on all hiring decisions · Generates all correspondence with applicants, including but not limited to offer letters, declination letters, etc.
· Implement onboarding process, including conducting new employee orientation and administering documentation package.
· Liaison with temporary placement agencies, assisting in seasonal staffing requirements or temporary staffing needs · Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation · Develop and manage the exit interview process; develop systems for communicating gathered information to management.
· Purge old records · Maintain blank applications for crew sign-ups.
· Submit a summary of activities and updates to the Office Manager and Owners daily.
*BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION ADMINISTRATION:* · Direct the development and coordination of training programs, career development, performance appraisal process, compensation systems, etc.
· Responsible for leading and executing the annual employee performance and salary review.
· Review and analyze wage and salary reports and data to establish competitive compensation plans.
· Guides managers in using and applying salary ranges and increases guidelines ensuring consistency with Company policies and objectives.
*OVERSEES SAFETY PROGRAM AND COMPLIANCE ADMINISTRATION:* · Serves as support for the program administrator for the Injury and Illness Prevention Program, maintaining high safety and security awareness.
· Supervises safety documentation submitted by crew foremen and supervisors through the Safety Manager.
· Leads the Company safety committee via the Safety Manager, ensuring regular meetings are conducted to coordinate and schedule companywide safety training programs.
Additionally, oversees the formulation of recommendations regarding preventive safety measures and procedures.
· Compile, store, review, sign-off (ensuring forms are filled out correctly, timely, etc.
) and retrieve safety data.
· Support the Investigations necessary for safety and security incidents, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees while maintaining compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).
· Coordinate safety activities by working with the Safety Manager to develop safety training packets for employees, including contractors and vendors.
· Develop appropriate light-duty options to foster a “return-to-work” attitude for worker’s compensation and other medical leaves.
· Stay informed about relevant safety regulations.

· Versatility, flexibility, dependability, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities · Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills Education, Experience, and Training · Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field and /or minimum 5+ years of experience in HR management or a combination of education and experience · Bilingual, verbal and written, (Spanish), required · PHR or SPHR Certificate, desirable · Comprehensive understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws · Current California Driver’s License.
· Clean Driving Record.
