Community acupuncture is where one practitioner treats multiple patients in a shared room.
This facilitates a lower charge for services.
Acupuncture is useful in dealing with acute and chronic physical, mental, and emotional health issues of most kinds.
It is often used in conjunction with other healthcare services, and is used by many to stay healthy throughout the seasons by getting regular "tune ups," increasing the frequency of their treatments when some issue arises.
Many of my patients have been elders.
During my training I interned at a hospital where I treated many ailments, especially stroke sequela.
This is a partial list of issues I've addressed:
Pain, stress, grief, sleeping problems, allergies, asthma, colds, chemotherapy support, post-surgical support, stroke sequela.
Some people finally choose to try acupuncture after seeking help from a number of medical practitioners with little or no improvement of their malady.
This can lead to weeks, months, or years of discomfort and frustration.
Occasionally they are shocked at achieving relief from one, or a few treatments.
Community treatments available on a sliding scale: $50 initial visit, $30 (or more, your decision) on return treatments.
Private evening and weekend appointments are also available.
Private treatments for $75 (+ $20 for initial visit) or more (depending upon how much time we spend together and your choices).
