Seeking Resource Parents / Respite Care (lake county)

Looking for a vocation that allows you to work from home? Do you have experience or an interest in supporting youth? Want to help make a difference in the lives of others? Redwood Community Services (RCS) is looking for families to provide loving home environments that support youth involved in the foster care system.
RCS provides extensive training and support which includes 24/7 on-call services and weekly case management.
These are all free resources for our resource parents.
What you will need: • Pass a background check • A good driving record • A vehicle that can pass a vehicle safety inspection • Maintain 100/300 liability insurance for your car • Homeowner or renter’s insurance.
This would involve overnight care in your home and would require steps to approval which may take some time.
Once approved, you/your family is eligible to receive a monthly stipend and our supportive services are tailored to meet unique individual needs of resource parents, families, and youth.
